Transplant Keepsakes

May 24, 2010, this is when I was born again! I am a Bi-lateral Lung Transplant receipient. I was transplanted in May, 2010 at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. I was diagnoised with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis ( IPF ) in December, 2005. It's been quite a trip as you well know, but one I would do again in a second! I don't know anything about my donor or his or her family, I have sent letters and cards and they have excepted my coorespondence, so hopefully one day I will get to talk to my Heros family! Until then I will continue to pray for them and hope they find some peace in knowing that I am doing very well! God Bless!!
